Sushi Cushi, a small sushi bar in Chicago, was in need of a change. Although the restaurant was popular with its frequent visitors, it was little known to local customers in the area. This was largely due to their poor brand image and inconsistent design.
Approach
I decided to make its presence felt by positioning the brand into an upscale market. The design process led to a modern logo with clean lines and scalability for multiple printing surfaces.
Result
The new logo holds a striking contrast at multiple sizes. It translates well from large environmental graphics to small business cards, and creates a recognizable brand for Sushi Cushi. The client responded enthusiastically to the new design.
