A new storing opening is an ideal moment to take on new ambitions. Bigg’s, a chain of supermarkets with thirteen stores in Cincinnati, Ohio, wanted to use their new store openings as a vehicle to launch their newly redesigned brand.
Approach
As the in-house designer creating the new brand, we decided our best asset was to show off our new deli, meat, and certified organic produce sections by utilizing visuals around ‘fresh’. I designed new magazine ads, environmental signage, posters, in-store materials, stickers, and t-shirts to create a new grocery shopping experience.
Result
The grand opening was spectacularly launched with custom mail pieces to our devoted customers and prizes for the public. Immediately afterwards, a large multi-channel campaign was started which continually brought in record traffic and success for the new store.
